Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture: salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes, the Algarve's beaches are a major destination and much of the nation’s architecture dates to the 1500s–1800s, when Portugal had a powerful maritime empire. In terms of food there is an emphasis on fish, meat, olive oil, tomato and spices, featuring hearty soups, homemade bread and cheeses, as well as unexpected combinations of meat and shellfish. Because Portugal’s wine culture developed in relative isolation, many grape varieties do not grow anywhere else in the world. If you don’t recognize the grape variety on a Portuguese wine label, it’s a good thing. There are over 250 indigenous varieties and a few imports that have adapted well to the Portuguese landscape (i.e., they are delicious). To many wine experts, Portugal is the last frontier of wine in Western Europe; there is still so much to be tasted and explored.

Begin the evening mingling with guests over cocktails & canapes at 6pm followed by a 5 course tasting dinner. Tickets include welcome cocktail, canapes & 5 course tasting menu. Wine pairings are additional & optional.   All Supper Club tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis and are non refundable.
